The name Seventh-day Adventist includes vital beliefs for us as a Church. 'Adventist' reflects our passionate conviction in the nearness of the soon return('advent') of Jesus.'Seventh-day' refers to the Biblical Sabbath which from Creation has always been the seventh day of the week, or Saturday.

The mission of the Adventist Church is the to proclaim to all peoples the everlasting gospel in the context of the Three Angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus as their personal Savior and to unite with His Church and nurturing them in preparation for His soon return.

Hello my friend, and welcome to the blessings of the Lord through the Mt. Pleasant Seventh-day Adventist Church. In the midst of the uncertainty of life, it is a good thing to know that God has not turned His back towards us. Even though things don’t always go as we would like in our lives, He still comes through for us, making a way where there seems to be no way. Because of His amazing grace and ability to make better the less-than-ideal experiences of our lives, I encourage you to daily remember to seek him in prayer, to connect with us on this platform, and to remind yourself that with him all things are possible. Be blessed and anticipate a spiritual enhancement in your life.
